Nepal Earthquake Relief Drive - through June 14, 2015
Thank you to all who generously donated goods for our Nepal Earthquake Relief drive. We collected much needed medical supplies, personal care items, cleaning supplies, some tarps and even one tent! This community rocks!!! Supplies will be shipped to Nepal by the Afya Foundation. Working with the humanitarian organization, AFYA Foundation from Yonkers, the Alex Ferrone Photography Gallery has organized a donation goods drive to collect much needed supplies to help with earthquake relief efforts for the people of Nepal. AFYA Foundation's mission is to collect and deliver critically needed surplus medical supplies, hospital equipment, and humanitarian provisions for acute and ongoing health crises worldwide.
They have provided a specific list of supplies needed below and if you would like to help with a donation, please drop off any new goods from the list at the Alex Ferrone Photography Gallery during open hours through June 14th (25425 Main Road, Cutchogue. Hours: Thurs-Sun 11-5).
Tylenol (or generic acetaminophen)
Wound dressing supplies and bandages
Personal hygiene items
Powdered infant formula
Surgical supplies (General & Orthopedic)
Water purification tablets
Lifestraw personal water filters
Glucometers & Non-expired Matching Test Strips
Tools (shovels, pick axes, work gloves)
Heavy-duty garbage bags
