Lines Exhibit:  September 27 - November 3, 2013
The Lines Exhibit features works of award-winning photographers Alex Vignoli and Jim Sabiston, whose images reveal prominent and striking lines that create powerful views of ordinary subject matter.

Originally from Brazil, Alex Vignoli  has acquired 20+ years of experience working in the visual arts and works from his studio on the East End of Long Island. He craves creativity and design, and inspiration for him comes from famed painters such as Da Vinci, Dali, Escher and Rockwell, as well as, from clever marketing media campaigns, poster and book design.   He is constantly producing fine art photography, paintings, illustrations, and sculpture. Alex has exhibited his photographs and paintings throughout Long Island including the East End, and his works are in private collections in the United States, Brazil, Costa Rica, England, Guatemala, Japan, Mexico, Portugal and Spain.

An award-winning, freelance photographer based on Long Island, Jim Sabiston began his visual arts career as a painter, but with the advent of the digital camera, he left painting behind and committed himself to the art of photography. A self-taught artist, Jim Sabiston produces work that spans subjects as diverse as classic landscapes, remote mountains, and deep forests, to hard-edged modern concrete architecture and spaces of New York City, to perceptive abstracts. Jim’s photographs have received awards from National Geographic Explorer magazine, the Adirondack Mountain Club, and the Islip Arts Council; have been published in SAIL and Nature Photographer magazines; and, are part of many private collections.
